Job Leader / Job Foremen Electrician:
Responsible for the planning, supervising and the performing of electrical installations.
Must be able to:
- Work with and lead a team
- Build team atmosphere and motivate the team on a job site
- Work well with, for, and along side customers
- Read and apply drawings and prints
- Read and apply job site specifications
- Licensed JW in state of SD and city of Sioux Falls
- OSHA 10 hour safety certification
- Familiar with basic Word, Excel, Outlook
- Understand NFPA 70E and NEC basic concepts to apply to job site installations
- 8 years' experience - 3 of which in leadership role running projects
- OSHA 30 hour
- Additional leadership courses / seminars
- Additional team building courses / seminars
Controls/Automation Electrician:
Responsible for the design, layout, planning and installation of electrical controls.
Must be able to:
- Read electrical logic controls and one line diagrams
- Work with and alongside customers for specific customer control applications and equipment development
- Communicate on the technical level of logic controls to accomplish the end goal
- Communicate on the customer level regarding the design and functionality of the end product
- Applicant must also be familiar with PLC's, VFD's, motors, inputs/outputs logic programming and traditional hard wire controls.
The following are recommended but not required:
- Experience with design software
- UL certification
- Specific manufacture drive and software certifications
- 5 years' experience specifically related to electrical processes and controls
Apprentices:
Responsible for taking direction and working under a licensed journeyman electrician in order to learn the trade through first-hand experience.
Must be able to:
- Listen to directions from supervisor
- Have a basic understanding of methods and materials
- Study and interpret instructions
- Obtain a State of South Dakota and City of Sioux Falls apprentice license
- Attend apprenticeship training classes
Journeyman Electrician:
Responsible for installation of various types of electrical systems in a clean and workman like manner.
Must be able to:
- Communicate effectively with others
- Pay attention to detail
- Multi-task
- Study and interpret instructions
Low Voltage Technician:
Responsible for installation of various types of low voltage systems such as network cabling, fiber, fire alarm, etc.
Must be able to:
- Communicate effectively with others
- Pay attention to detail
- Multi-task
- Study and interpret instructions
