In 1923 Warren Harding was President of the United States, the average house sold for under $5,000 and Max Nickel and T.G. Cook started Electric Supply Company in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The company serviced the Sioux Falls area by wiring homes, rewinding motors and extending pole line facilities for utility companies.
Today, Electric Supply Company has changed a great deal. We are the leader in “Exceptional Electrical Contracting”, and have grown to be one of the larger Electrical Contractors in the area, while remaining one of the most respected in the region.
With a succession plan in place for long-term operation, Electric Supply Company will be here to serve clients for another 100 years. The company selects and trains top quality craftsperson’s using the National Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee (NJATC). Our field staff ranges from 50 -120 Electricians, depending on the work load. In addition to our regular staff, we have immediate access to a national pool of thousands of Electricians across this great nation. Our technicians can perform a variety of tasks, from simple wiring to the most intricate projects, all with a professional attitude and safe manner.
Yet another sign of our stability is the number of Electricians that make Electric Supply a career choice. We are proud to say that we have had more Electricians start with our company and retire with us than any in our region.
The company serves many of the area’s best corporations. Please see our project page for a few samples of customers whom we have performed for in the past. Our installations range from fiber optic networks to hospitals and everything in between.
To keep pace with today’s demanding business climate, Electric Supply strives to remain on the cutting edge of the industry’s technology. We attribute our success to building strategic partnerships with our clients. By treating others the way we want to be treated, we ensure customer satisfaction.
